SolWatt I consists of 1600 solar panels which produce up to 360kW.
360kW is the Equivalent of 3600 light bulbs consuming 100 Watts per light bulb.
The panels are held at optimal tilt and supported on a stable platform.
Arrays are anchored on strong supports.
Appropriate spacing maximizes solar yields.
After the array was erected we spread straw down to keep the sand and dust from covering the panels.
SolWatt I alone provides enough electricity to supply more than 30 homes with renewable electricity for decades.
